Hemoptysis developing soon after use of sildenafil: An observation of two cases.

We present an observation on hemoptysis that is probably associated with sildenafil usage in two patients with no other risk factors. Hemoptysis occurred immediately after the drug had been taken and has not recurred again following the discontinuation of the drug. We would like to emphasize that, after eliminating other risk factors, sildenafil might be a probable cause of transient hemoptysis.
